Fall and Winter is a time when we turn to comfort foods that always taste good, easy to prepare, and remind of us of good times throughout our lives. The slow cooker, or crock pot is a good appliance choice for ease of cooking and great food. Below is a macaroni and cheese recipe I heard on the local radio show 'Listen to the Mrs.' Wooly mammoth and I like a good stout with our mac 'n cheese! A nice porter would work well too.
